G4 doorbell not updating to the latest firmware?

I have two G4 video doorbells. One bought 2 months ago which runs with FW version 4.0.6_0046.0094.
The other one was bought and setup yesterday. However the FW was updated just to version 4.0.6_0018.0068 and the app says it is up to date.

Why is the new G4 not updating to the latest firmware? Is it OK? Is there any limitation or restriction (e.g. HW versions) preventing the update? If not, is there a way to update it?

Can you please share your FW versions used on G4?

Can someone from Aqara explain and advise?

Firmware is rolled out gradually, if you haven’t received the latest firmware, don’t worry, the update will come later, sometimes it takes more time. Be patient. Thank you and have a nice day.

Hi @Raman.V, I don’t think this is the case. I would rather get the firmware versions for G4 and update process confirmed by Aqara support team.
The FW 4.0.6_0018.0068 reported by Aqara app as up-to-date is actually quite old (I suppose it may be even 1 year old). Even here within Aqara forum I can see references to various later FWs (e.g. 4.0.6_0024.0072, 4.0.6_0030.0078, 4.0.6_0044_0092) and as I mentioned, my other doorbell is running 4.0.6_0046.0094.
So it seems to me that the FW update process for G4 is quite inconsistent (see G4 Doorbell no longer recording after firmware update? where 3 users report different FW versions as up-to-date).

Contact support support@aqara.com , they will investigate this fact and you should receive an update for your G4
Make sure you have the latest version of the Aqara home app.
