What happened to the settings to continuously record and to setup my SD card and NAS connection?

There must have been a recent update to the app because those settings have disappeared.

This product is frustrating to use. I don’t want an Aqara hub and I don’t want to subscribe to the Aqara cloud service. The whole reason I purchased this product was to avoid additional hardware and cloud services! Please stop pushing the cloud so hard and make the darn thing work well without needing extra junk.

Yeah, those. “Local Storage” wasn’t showing up yesterday. It’s there now. I’m still missing the NAS option though. My interface looks slightly different from yours, but I’m guessing that’s because I’m on iOS.

They definitely made some changes to the app very recently as the HomeKit related options/setup have changed as well.

Aqara G4 Doorbell, Aqara Home App AOS v.6.1.5 can no longer change from event recording to 24 hour recording

Aqara G4 Doorbell, Aqara Home App AOS v.6.1.5 can no longer change from event recording to 24 hour recording. The option has disappeared! There is nowhere in the Aqara App for iOS v6.1.5 either! I have installed Aqara Home App AOS v.6.1.4 and settings have been restored! Two sections are missing in v.6.1.5, Local Storage and NAS (Network Attached Storage). I can’t understand why these options have been removed. Please advise.

Thank you for confirming I’m not crazy. Can you explain what “AOS” is? I use iOS and I don’t think it’s possible for me to downgrade the version after it’s updated.

That’s correct you can’t downgrade an app on iOS

It is not fixed for me. I still do not have NAS options anywhere in my settings.

We have been optimizing the settings page recently, and support for “24 hour recording” under the External power supply mode was missed. The issue is currently being fixed urgently. Thank you for your input, @FrankH. The text you quoted was not from this thread and I hadn’t seen it. Furthermore, I replied because according to the bot post, the issue had already been fixed, but it actually had not yet been fixed. Thus, I reported that the issue was still outstanding for me. I can now report that I have full functionality back.
