G410 doorbell logging thousands of “lingerer detected”

[JohnD]

Hi.

@feenix

it would be useful to actually be able to use the lingerer detected setting.

Yes, that is possible. Take a look here:

Suggestions for apartment setup. G410

Hi and welcome. You can change the Settings under: Detection Settings → AI Detection → Lingerer Detection [image] And you can reduce Notifications under: Detection Settings → Notifications → Notification Preferences [image]

@feenix

It seems like it was affected by the sun’s position across from it. I read others mention this too. Any fix coming for that?

And take a look here:

G410 and direct sunlight

Newly installed G410 a few days ago. Works reliably through the evening and night, but as soon as the sun shines on it all I get is constant network errors and the device no longer streams video. Anyone else experienced this? I’ve had other brands of cameras and doorbells in the same location for years that haven’t had this issue. Any solutions? Can’t change the direction of the house so repositioning isn’t really an option!
