Has anyone had issues with the new G410 Doorbell video being overexposed? I’ve tried everything possible and have just reinstalled my G4 because the video brightness is better balanced even though it’s less quality.
Also, I am using HomeKit, but also have the aqara app installed as well to adjust the device settings.
Thanks @AqaraOfficial. Is there an estimated date this might be updated? Trying to determine if I keep the G410 or just return it because it’s completely unusable in its current state.
I got the same problem. In the morning the sun shines straight into the camera washing almost 70% of the picture (practically useless). At night, there is a street light across our house blinding out everything.
There should be way of fixing this. I doubt I am part of a “very small percentage” of users with this issues.
I think doorbell cameras shouldn’t be design for “near perfect lighting conditions”.
Hello @tcdburner@jrzap@radi7024
Today a new firmware came out and this problem should be solved, install the latest update. Can you share the results after the update.
Hey @Raman.V - I just gave it a try by unplugging my G4 and put my G410 back up, but the app is saying firmware is up to date for a version that’s even older than your picture.
Finally got the latest firmware for my G410 and installed it.
I don’t see much improvement with the bright areas overexposure.
Anyone with improvements for this issue?
I don’t why I bought it, but I would think there should be a way to fix the exposure.
I guess I am the only person with a light across the street facing straight into the doorbell and with a front door facing the morning Sun!
