I have been using the G410 and from 8am-11am
the video stream loses total connection.I can still get the notifications and sound through my homepod mini but i can’t see who’s at the door since the video just keeps losing and loading (both on apple home and Aqara app) around 11am the connections comes back and you can see there’s a gap where the G410 camera didn’t record anything from that timeframe.
the reason it’s because around that time the sun hits directly the device as seen in the pictures, Aqara support was of no help, I’ve seen this on other users and since i can’t return the item (it was bought through a third party seller) I wish I could solve it myself or at least make Aqara solve it with a firmware update

No message that the device is overheating or that it is offline
it is powered through batteries
the chime HUB is less than a meter to the doorbell
It’s really frustrating that your G410 keeps acting up. As discussed in another forum thread, the G410 is unfortunately very sensitive to direct sunlight.
Aqara seems to be aware of these limitations and points them out in the FAQ:

Aqara has announced and released official firmware updates for the G410 specifically aimed at fixing the video/connection issues caused by direct sunlight. However, some users still report that their G410 drops offline in direct sun despite running the latest software.

Power Supply
A quick question: How is your G410 currently powered—by batteries or is it hardwired? Heat from direct sunlight can put a heavy strain on batteries, which might further destabilize the system.
The Ideal Installation Spot
To truly get this issue under control, the best solution is usually an installation location that protects the G410 from both rain and direct sun. A small canopy or setting it slightly deeper into a wall niche is often enough to keep the lens in the shade.

The firmware update: the latest and I installed it as soon as possible as I was told by the aqara support. 4.5.20
I was told that a wired installation would salt all the problems I have with the doorbell, including the slightly delayed notification on the home app and aqara app
