Thanks to all users for their continuous feedback and tolerance towards Aqara products. I apologize for any inconvenience caused to users due to some software or hardware bugs. We have identified and fixed some issues, and are currently investigating some unkown issues. We are also evaluating the value and feasibility of some requirements. I provided some progress updates here:
G100
- Can’t view the video on Apple Watch issue: This bug has been fixed, and a new firmware will be released within next week.
- Offline issues for certain routers: we will make some connection optimizations. Please pay attention to the next firmware update.
- The motion detection is not sensitive: We will upgrade a new motion detection model, which will greatly improve sensitivity, but the firmware will be released later.
- Video unsmooth in HomeKit (but normal in Aqara Home): reason to be investigated. Usage issues in HomeKit are usually time-consuming and require patience for firmware updates.
- Noise occured after connecting to Alexa echo show: It has been confirmed that it was caused by the firmware update of the echo show. We have contacted Amazon but have not received a response yet. However, we have decided to update the camera’s firmware to adapt to the new echo show firmware.
G410
- Video can’t be viewed When the doorbell is directly exposed to sunlight: Thank goodness, we have finally gained some insight into this issue. As early as the G4 doorbell era, users have reported this bug. We have been researching for a long time and cannot find the cause, but G410 inherited this defect, which shocked us. We will solve this problem in next firmware.
- The infrared LED light does not light up during night vision: this bug resulting in a very dark image, we will fix it in the next firmware.
- The brightness of the video is overexposed: In the new firmware, we will open the brightness adjustment feature for users. The brightness can be adjusted separately during the day and night, and the brightness can be suppressed during the day to prevent overexposure of the screen; When other areas are too dark due to wall reflection at night, the brightness can be increased to display details in the dark areas.
