Ich würde gerne den Trockner im Keller smart machen weil die angezeigte Rest Zeit nie stimmt und ich oft umsonst in den Keller laufe XD
Denkt ihr das funktioniert eher mit einen Vibration Sensor? Oder mit einer smarten Steckdose?
Oder habt ihr andere Ideen??

ich habe das bei der Waschmaschine und dem Trockner jeweils mit einer smarten Steckdose gemacht. Das funktioniert sehr zuverlässig über Home Assistant mit Benachrichtigung auf Apple TVs und Smartphones. Und immer nur die Person, die gerade zu Hause ist, damit der Partner oder die Partnerin nicht bei der Arbeit gestört wird.
Es empfiehlt sich, smarte Stecker oder noch besser smarte Wandsteckdosen zu verwenden, die bis 16 Ampere abgesichert sind.

I did this with both the tumble dryer and the washing machine, each of which has a smart plug. It works very reliably via Home Assistant, with notifications sent to Apple TVs and smartphones. And always only the person who is currently at home, so that their partner is not disturbed at work.
If you do use a smart plug, it must be explicitly rated for high loads and capable of handling 15 Amps (or 16 Amps in European systems). The most professional solution to monitor your tumble dryer and the washing machineis to replace the existing wall socket with a dedicated Smart Wall Outlet (like the Aqara Smart Wall Outlet).
If you wish to use vibration sensors, I’ve described here how to check if the vibration stopped.
But an easier way to monitor if a dryer is running may be using a smart plug. It can monitor current power usage and you can make an automation triggered when power usage drops
