I bought three new camera in nov but no new bracket! If Aqara sales departement does not understand that everyone that bought a g5 camera is in need of this bracket they should be fired due to incompetence!! Of course we need it! The camera without it is flawed!! What an insane commentary that is coming from Aqaras staff!
Thank you for the information. After reading it, I reached out to customer service to inquire how to replace/purchase a new bracket and received this reply:
“Currently, the bracket for the G5 Pro is still in the production stage. The sales team has not yet finalized the launch plan or the sales channels, so we’re unable to provide pricing information at this time.”
Is there a specific email address I can contact or or part number I need to request, to get things in motion?
I also am in need of this bracket. I have installed the camera, but it’s useless to me in the angle it’s pointing. I wouldn’t have even fathomed that a camera this fully featured would not be able to do something as simple as rotate to one side or another when mounting. I have been trying to hold off returning the other G5 Pro camera that I bought at the same time until I found a solution, but my return deadline is quickly approaching.
Has there been any success with anyone attempting to order this through customer service?s I’d really like to keep both cameras because I like them otherwise!

Unfortunately, I have not had any success with customer service, and it appears that this thread is no longer being followed. I hope you were able to return the camera. I am stuck with mine, but I’m glad I initially purchased only one for testing, as my intention was to replace six older Nest Cams. I will explore alternatives and sell the G5 Pro once I have identified a suitable replacement.
I was thrilled with Aqara when I first started setting up my home, but this bracket issue has left me completely frustrated. There’s no way to verify the availability of a bracket on Amazon. If you’re purchasing a bracket that’s not currently in production, even the customer service representatives at Aqara are unaware of its existence. On the other hand, Aqara users on the forum claim that it’s already been released. I’m at a loss because I’m not willing to waste my time ordering something that I’ll have to return. This entire situation is a complete headache. And to make matters worse, the 90-degree rotation feature doesn’t work for me. I need to be able to move the camera left or right. Everything else in my house works perfectly, except for my backyard camera. It can’t even point at the pool that I need for the safety of my children.
The picture you posted is for a g100 and your customer service has no idea the mount exists
Yeah, I got a similar response on January 30th from customer service. Very disappointing.

I suspect it’s not the bracket but rather how to sell the newer bracket and get it into the hands of customers. I’ve looked and you can’t seem to be able to buy any Aqara accessories or parts? Need an extra battery? Can’t buy one. need more sensor stickers? Nope can’t buy a pack. Need a longer or shorter cord? Nope can’t buy one.
Aqara does not seem to have a mechanism to sell those type of items?
So I’m always asking for updates. I was super excited about this mount when first announced kind of went through the emotional roller coaster of it not being available, etc. and issues with information from customer service.
Well, I have an update.
I reached out to Aqara’s customer service by email about two weeks ago. The customer representative that I dealt with knew exactly what I was talking about was extremely prompt with communication even explaining that during Chinese new year there might be some delay in communication which didn’t happen and just now I was delivered the bracket. I have it in my hand. I am extremely happy with this outcome. Your rep Caleb at Aqara deserves a raise!
Hi Haseown, Did you have to pay anything, supply any serial numbers or proof or purchase etc?
So, that’s great, but just in case anyone is interested in an alternative since support has been inconsistent, here you go. Someone on eBay is now selling mounts at different degree angles based on what you need. I’ve ordered one already and will post with the results once I get it installed.
Sorry for the delay I don’t really check here often. I did have to prove obviously that I had the cameras, but luckily, since I had purchased my cameras directly through them, it was easy to verify the information.
I just purchased this camera via the Aqara Store on Amazon US. It came with the old mount. I sent a support message through Aqara’s Web Support Page. Hopefully it will be addressed before I have to return the unit.
