Well today I was trying to see why since the latest update of aqara home app and M3 hub every time I go to my AC on aqara home app opens and then after 1 second goes to M3 page very weird as this didn’t happen before.but when I go to m3 hub and go to the AC from there works perfectly and this way I discover that aqara now made posible to chose the w100 as temperature sensor for the AC to show on Apple home app witch we didn’t know since they never mention nothing went they release an new update.also I see that now we have an new feature on the M3 hub witch wasn’t there before last update and is the option to use the M3 hub as an WiFi extender or access point this is cool and I will have to try it.on the screenshots shows what I was telling you above.did someone notice this?
There is also an issue regarding the WiFi extender feature as went I went to set it on or off and get back without doing nothing it shows this not even sure what exactly this is
Well I just love my M3 near to the patio were I will use the new outdoor smart plug when I will receive it and also I enable the WiFi access point in M3 and sims that only 4 devices can connect to it but for me I only need it for 1 in this case now I will see if that device will connect to it by himself without me doing an reset

The Wi-Fi repeater in the M3 will be useful for connecting Matter devices, that’s cool.
Yes I have all set but as of now my outdoor plug from Meross doesn’t want to connect to my M3 via WiFi not an big deal but since I place my M3 near to my patio were I also will place the Aqara outdoor one and to have an better zigbee conexión I hope to can connect my other plug by WiFi from my router have good signal but not great.also did you notice that log that appear when you go back from that access point option?
I also made an small video with my issues that I detected on aqara home app also I send it to the Aqara support all this happens since the lates update of M3
If aqara will fix it will be cool.if I feel in the mood today I will reset my Meross outdoor plug and see if I can connect to my M3 access point because the plug right now it doesn’t detect that there is an access point near with an better WiFi signal so he connect to it not even sure how this WiFi plugs works.but I need to try an see if I can have an better WiFi signal for it with my M3:rofl:
That WiFi feature is interesting. Not for me, as my M3 is right next to my router running off PoE and off a UPS. Still, for potential further expansion, this may be good.
Yup something weird but is not only me as on android also does that .well for me will be good that access point because I have the Meross outdoor doble plug that is WiFi and right now it is connected to my router but the signal that Meross app shows is week even if is 30/40/50% odd thing but this broke 2 of this plugs before during some firmware update.very weird thing and now having the 3th plug Meross told me to not update it and try it like that. I do want to see if my M3 will give him a better signal since now I move it to my hallway.
definitely a cool bonus feature! Let’s see if the bug will disappear and it works properly
