P100 – Ability to Invert Sensor State for Installation Inside a Closet

Will there be a setting to invert the sensor’s state? I want to install the sensor inside the closet where the router, NAS server, and so on are located.

Do you mean that the sensor detects when a door or window is open? The sensor is usually calibrated when the door is closed. If you calibrate it while the door is open, I think the status will automatically reverse.

I would like to have the ability to calibrate it with the door open so that it shows the door as closed when it actually closes, because I want to install the sensor inside, and I don’t have a way to get inside

Now I get it  Why don’t you try calibrating the sensor on the outside and then move it to the inside?

I already did it differently, I made my sister’s child climb inside, I closed it and he pressed to calibrate :rofl::rofl:. We’re waiting for Aqara to roll out this update

If your sister’s child doesn’t want to climb inside into the closet anymore, you can buy a Swichbot Bot instead to calibrate the sensor

I hope that Aqara will release this functionality before the next time I need to calibrate :sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

Hello! The current calibration process lasts a total of 2 seconds. In order to prevent the device from still being unsteady after the user triggers calibration, the data from the first second is actually ignored. Therefore, theoretically you could try to quickly close the door within one second after triggering calibration to achieve the expected effect (however, this is risky, because if the vibration from closing the door lasts for a relatively long time, it will affect the calibration data :joy:).
