A couple of examples of how this could be used.

  1. If you have children, you will know that they often have a habit of leaving lights on. This come eliminate the problem as you can set it to turn the lights off when everyone has left the room.
  2. You can use it to automate when the heating turns on and off.
  3. You can use it to warn you if the humidity gets too high or too low and you need to turn a humidifier on or off.
  4. You can use it in a security automation so that if it detects movement when you are away from home then it can trigger alarms and light flashes.

These are just for examples. There are endless possibilities of the automations and scenes you can trigger with this one sensor. It not only has mmWave and PIR, but a light sensor, temperature sensor and humidity sensor all rolled into one package.

It does indeed! You can add it in the Aqara app in ZigBee and then connect it to Apple Home, or you can switch protocols to Thread and add it directly to the Apple Home, or any smart home app of your choice. This includes platforms like Home Assistant and HomeBridge.

Hi there, it has both ZigBee and Thread/Matter and it should work with Homey. I did explain this in the little video attached. Also, I believe this will be released in all regions. @AqaraOfficial please correct me if I am wrong.

I was looking at a FP2 sensor but realized it only works in Homey through Homekit, If FP300 works with Homey then i definetly need that.
