Sneak Peak at the FP300 Multi Presence Sensor

I think this has already been mentioned here, but if you use aqara home, then the zigbee mode is better because there will be more settings.

Yeah, but i mostly use Homey. I do have Aqara Home, Homey, Google Home. But i use Homey most of course since we have lots of brands in our house.

But Homey also has an Aqara app which has the zigbee devices. Do you think it might get added there too?

I hope so, but if there is no zigbee support in Homey, there is always Thread and it will definitely be possible to use it with Homey via matter.

Hi, do you have pets or a vacuum cleaner?
Does fp300 detect them?
On fp2 we have a setting to ignore presence of small pets

Planning of putting it in my kitchen to detect motion for lights, detect the amount of light from the sun outside to determine if my shades should be lowered in the kitchen

This is an excellent use case and when it is released to the public, I will be buying more of these sensors and I will be putting one of them to this exact use. I can’t wait to see the different examples of use cases being submitted by all the wonderful users on here.

will you lose any functionality if you directly connect it to Apple Home via Thread instead of via the app? I guess you have much more settings within the Aqara app…

I’m looking to put one in a shower area of a bathroom to control both the lighting (presence) and extractor fan (humidity). Not really safe to wire a sensor in that location, so battery powered would be perfect. Current motion sensor turns off unexpectedly when there’s no movement.

How is the battery life?

I want to have a sensor in the living room that can tell when I am still there and haven’t moved for ages and not turn off the lights prematurely.
