I got the G410 and hate it. It cannot even tell me in HomeKit that a person or package is at the door. I need those features in HomeKit, not in the Aqara app. Going back to my Logitech doorbell that has all those features directly in HomeKit. The motion sensor is the only device visible to HomeKit, that I can add an automation to, and it gets set off by passing car lights.
4.3.8 is catastrophic. My G100 cameras barely work now. On HomeKit: I get the notifications as expected, but nothing is recorded unless the motion lasts at least 10s. Aqara cloud doesn’t seem to work any better.
Crazy that aqara is not taking this seriously. It should be fixed in two days. Going to get a refund and never think about purchasing Aqara again.

I still have an issue with G410 not streaming or alerting doorbell ringing on Google Home as G400 did. I’ve tried support, but they eventually sent it to some other department.
I also would like the delayed notification reduced as others comment when doorbell is ringing.
Does the G400 you mentioned refer to G4? Because G400 is not a product currently being sold by Aqara, we have fixed an issue where G410 appears as a non doorbell device type on Google. You need to rebind your doorbell and sync it to Google again. Please try this operation to see if it can solve your problem.
Thanks, but didn’t do anything. G4 yes. Everything appears to be working besides the video streaming and the doorbell alerts on my hub.

Are there any updates on this? My G410 still does not work in direct sunlight.

I’m getting a little crazy to configure my G100, having a dog outside and also a cat outside the house these activate the person detection and I have it in (Low), could you see if you can fine-tune the firmware more so that it differentiates well what an animal and a person is? I can provide videos or even screenshots of the frames where the camera detects a person and it is really the dog.
If upgrading the newest firmware still cannot solve the problem you encountered, please contact Aqara’s official customer service for assistance.

Thank you very much @Aqara_PM_Donie, I will wait for the new firmware to see if the discrimination between person and pet improves. Would it be possible to share clips and frames somewhere to help you optimize the algorithm? Or do I continue to do it through the feedback button of the Aqara Home application? If there is another method I could provide you with clips and other information in order to help improve the G100 camera.
