U200 Keypad does not trigger automation when lock is already unlocked

Hi everyone,

I am using Aqara U200 + Keypad and I have an automation that triggers an Aqara Relay T2 when the lock unlocks.

This works fine only if the U200 is currently locked.

The issue is that if the lock is already unlocked, and I enter a valid code on the keypad, the automation does not run.

So it seems the automation is triggered only by a lock state change from locked to unlocked, and not by a successful keypad authentication itself.

What I actually need is something like:

valid keypad entry
or
unlock by keypad
or
successful keypad authentication

That way, the Relay T2 could be triggered even when the lock is already in the unlocked state.

Has anyone found a workaround for this?

Also, is Aqara planning to add more detailed triggers for the U200 Keypad, such as:

password accepted, fingerprint accepted, NFC accepted, or user verified?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I was also surprised by this limitation when creating the automation. Most likely the event information is taken from the lock motor. Here is my lesson 19(2) using the additional T2 relay. Automation 2.0 continuation of lesson 19. Open/closed status information for the Aqara U200 lock (as well as locks of all types of Aqara)
