Thanks to everyone who took part in our questionnaire! We’ve gathered plenty of valuable feedback. Below is a quick recap of our latest U400 user interview data and highlights:

(1) We randomly contacted roughly 150 U400 owners. The majority told us UWB unlock is their go-to way to open the door. We’ll keep polishing and expanding this UWB experience at Aqara.

(2) User recommendation score averages at about 8.5 with a median of 9, while the product design scores 8.3 on average.

As for the feedback collected from U200 users, we will deliver improved solutions in our next-gen products. Meanwhile, Product team will strive to secure exclusive offers for U200 users as a token of gratitude for your trust and support in Aqara.

I took the u200 survey, i must say im slightly upset and unhappy with the support ive got from Aqara and the quality of materials used in u200

I hope ill be able to effect future locks…

There was an option for the u200 to be used with UWB. I know that it doesn’t support it (yet?) but I clicked „most often“ to show my support for UWB release for Europe :slight_smile:

I replied from a U200 perspective. I bought 2 on kickstarter. I really like them but would like:

  • UWB and specifically Alero
  • Wireless charging for the lock.

Nice to be able to share the feedback of the U200.
First of all reliability…i have seen myself and heard by some other people …that we have had to do many regular recalibrations during the year.
2. The possibility of an UWB addon
3. A battery backup when the main battery is empty

Start using proper grease! And add UWB for Android, then I will upgrade :d

Edit: add a physical door sensor to detect when doors are closed/open, that gyroscope sensor is useless, its never working properly for autolock

Am I the ony one wanting a better matter support? I have a U200 on HA (with otbr and matter server), would really love to have the ability to see who unlock the lock on HA to use it with automations, and also to see keypad battery status, to get notifications when power is low…

I filled in the form for the U400. My U400 has been working great since I purchased it from the Aqara Shop on May 6/26. Purchased the U400 to replace my U100 which was having issues. Thank you for the opportunity to provide feedback for this device. Loving the updated features compared to the U100.

Oh, I should mention that I would like to be able to purchase a spare battery for the U400…. Hopefully there a plan in the works to be able to do that from the Aqara Shop at some point.

Thx for the opportunity to provide feedback and impact for future products. I’m a U200 user and love them (as long as the lubricant work, but hope the latest batches won’t experience that issue and then I’ll be happy. For features for a newer version I’m missing the possibility for using it for automotive of a 3 lock point door where you have to lift the door handle before you can lock the door. For me that would be the single most important feature, and of course to continue to support Geofence opening and for sure add UWB too and then facial recognition (provided it’s secure and decent distance for the recognition). :pray:t2:

First off you lock has to be a very good and high-quality lock. Then to that add some electronics that do not show. ABSOLUTELY ZERO exposed plastic. And for that matter, remove any internal plastic. Maybe I need to say this again: No plastic. Then it has to be a good lock, meaning that no one can open it by kicking it hard. People expect door locks to last 20 to 30 years and then be repairable. Cheap plastic will not last nor will it resist forced entry. Bronze or stainless steel. Look at Schlage for how to do this.
