As a couple have said add in chimes that work with the current doorbells

Security camera which can run from its own solar but can be fitted in a garage.

A new and improved version of the Touchscreen Dial V1 EU. This NEW version MUST supports Matter devices, which is a significant improvement as it’s currently impossible to use or control Matter devices on this screen.

The product is not anymore on sale,so we might expect a new version :sunglasses: or end of life :cry:

I know, We love small devices which require a small battery but this isn’t a good trend.

We have to purchase and stock lot of kind of batteries.

Using an AAA battery or AA is preferable as it’s rechargeable. While it does make the device bigger and is more cheaper in the long run, it’s a worthwhile investment.

Home automation devices often uses a variety of expensive batteries. AA and AAA batteries are easy to find and replace. I would like to see Aqara use more of them in their devices.

There are plenty of devices I love in the Aqara Ecosystem. I’m sure there will be a lot more delivered in 2026. This is my list of domains I wish to have a better situation in.

Outside devices include:

  • IP65 external plugs for power consumption and solar production
  • An IP65 outdoor thermometer
  • Raining and wind capture devices
  • Floodlight / alarm

Outside Camera with in-option:

  • Battery-powered or
  • Solar-powered (small panels)

Lights: Enhance the ecosystem!

  • Missing Aqara E14 bulb
  • Missing multiple bulbs, such as those with filaments or other features
  • Outdoor lighting

Technical devices:

  • A Zigbee extender, there is no way to extend current Zigbee network on Aqara?

Software improvements

Dashboard

  • provide a way to et dashboard on web, so you can get it on Tablett (not only iPad or Android)
  • Provide a local access to the Hub (M3), with a web or app interface.

Communication on devices

  • Provide a end of life support for each devices
  • Provide a list of incoming functionalities (roadmap)
  • provide a comprehensive list of functionalities available when using Zigbee or Matter standard (what are the differences).
  • Provide a web page with the liste of device an regional availability :wink:

My main wishes for 2026 are outside devices, improved communication on devices. :wink:

@Wishlist Add a “reset” period to the FP-2 settings so that if you’re running into a “ghosting” situation, the sensor resets after a period automatically… I.e. I have the sensor installed in the bathroom, I understand that mirrors and glass walls are hard to handle. But after i.e. one hour of no activity you can assume that the room is no more occupied. However, ghosting will make it like being reported as occupied for hours…

As others have stated for the FP300 to be in stock again. I had initially bought one to see how I would like it, and I want to replace a motion sensor I have with a FP300, along with adding a few others around the house.

Other than that, the main thing I would like is to see a visual zigbee map of the zigbee devices that I have up and running.

Wishlist 2026

I’d love to see the following products from Aqara next year:
• Smart door lock with a built-in camera — for extra security and to see who’s at the door.
• Outdoor camera — weatherproof, high-resolution, and integrated with other Aqara devices.
• Air quality sensor — to monitor indoor air and get alerts about pollution or high humidity.

Hope these ideas can make smart homes even safer and more convenient!

Matter cameras with updates for exiting cameras
A separate matter/zigbee keypad that can be paired and used with any device
Slim doorbell if it has matter support even better
New water leak sensor with thread/zigbee
Garage door opener with matter/zigbee/thread

  • Sell more products in the Japanese market
  • Dry contact sensor; some of my Z-wave door/window sensors can also be used as dry contact sensor
  • Too many hubs; it feels like Aqara puts hub on the market, forgets about it, and starts on the next hub. I feel the M3 has nice hardware which is under-utilized in the firmware/software.
