My first encounter with Aqara was the temp and humidity sensor, combined with the M1S to be able to monitor the temperature & humidity in my wine cabinets where I stored my Portwine collection, so that I would get warnings if the temp or humidity was outside set boundaries. Quickly there after I added some motion sensors and door and window sensors to make a home security set-up and from there it has developed rapidly so that I have basically full Aqara in every room
Also use Aqara smart plugs in all my arcades in malls to power the machines on and off every day and can turn them off if a machine has a fault.
My first devices that I bought was on 2018 and was 2 Aqara wall switches one doble and one simple and Aqara wireless switch also I was using them with the Xiaomi gateway, door sensor and smart switch button.back then I was using Xiaomi app with Chinese server to control all and a few years ago I got rid of the door sensor,doble wall switch and the Xiaomi gateway and bought aqara devices to use on Spanish server witch till now I have the M3 hub,Camera G3,like 3 mini wireless buttons ,MS1 2Gen gateway,2 smoke sensors,3 water leak sensors,1 motion sensors,Aqara w100 and an temperature and humidity sensor all running on Spanish server then I have Aqara gateway,1 motion sensor,E1 hub and Aqara air quality monitor S1 this are running on Chinese server.also I recently bought and Aqara curtain motor E1 that I will get next week.quite an collection and I am very happy so far on how all works perfectly My-First-Aqara
My first device was the M2 hub; I bought it right at launch, and since then I’ve been building my Aqara collection, which now totals over 300 devices. I actively follow new releases and try to expand my collection. My-First-Aqara
U400. Then M3. Then I thought - what can I do, more, with the M3. 2 months later… H1 H2 neutral switches home wide, P1 PIR, FP300s, G410 (chucked the Ring), G100s (chucked the Rings), T1 and L1 ceiling lights (grandfathering yeelights), M200 IR hub function only (chucked broadlink), T2 down lights (chucked dumb ones), E1 Rod curtain drivers, E27 Bulbs (chucked older tplink). Switched every device to zigbee 3.0 except for U400.
I’m well and fully in the aqara ecosystem now.

I started with a three pack of water leak sensors and an M2 hub. To this day these are still the products I rely on the most to save my home from catastrophe My-First-Aqara
My-First-Aqara is the aqara hub, H2 and T2 lights. First i had Hue, but i changed everything to Aqara lights and other things. It works fast reliable and easy.
I had an M3 hub and some H2EU switches and that has quickly grown to include my Sonos speaker, some G100’s a G410 and adding my govee lights and tado thermostats
My first aqara device was a Hub M1S and a couple of door and window sensors. Waaaay back when aqara was not distributed globally as they are now! But I was hooked pretty quick as the devices were great and not that expensive as the competitors and they supported apple homekit pretty early! So I always checked what aqara was doing and got super excited when they launched some of their products for the European market! Still super happy about the products aqara came up with and I’m excited about what the future brings. Love how they didn’t lost the drive for innovation and being one of the first implementing new technologies like apple homekey or UWB Support!
I started out with the U100 Smart Lock after a disastrous experience with a competitor. It’s made it through a couple Canadian winters now and is still going strong! My-First-Aqara
My first Aqara device was the M1S. It replaced a hallway night light so the wife had no complaints, and for me it allowed to to start building out my smart home. Water, door, and temperature sensors soon followed and to this day I still don’t this my wife realizes that the M1S is anything more than a nightlight.
