Smarthings has rolled out and added NFC tagging to unlock Aqara smartlocks. And so I checked the android Aqara app but there’s no UWB settings like the iOS Aqara app. But I also don’t see any UWB settings in the SmartThings app either. It said that smarthings added UWB as well but I guess it’s not fully integrated yet. But NFC tagging is working which I freaking love. I was literally thinking about buying an iPhone because of it.

UWB is coming in April. Did you have to re-add your lock to SmartThings to get the key upgrade? I’ve got mine added via Matter but it only allows me to do the remote commands on my Z Fold3.
I didn’t have to do anything it just downloaded the settings and it just started working. But when It was downloading it said UWB and NFC were activated but UWB isn’t working.
No Aqara Hub. Just a SmartThings Station and a Nest Hub Max. I guess that’s my problem.
For you, my guess it that Samsung Wallet is programmed to say both UWB and NFC are available when it detected that both the lock and phone support it. But Aqara says it’s coming in April. So you’ll get it eventually, presumably after a firmware update
Ok cool thanks for the heads up, I can’t wait for it to come. To be honest you don’t really need the Aqara hub you can connect it to the app through Bluetooth and your still able to access and change settings to the u400. Without a Aqara hub. Which I think is pretty cool because my Aqara u50 couldn’t do that.
I fixed it! Had to re-add it like I theorized. Perhaps the initial issue was because I added it to SmartThings via my Pixel 9 Pro, which of course doesn’t support Samsung Wallet. Deleting and adding from my Galaxy solved it.
Awesome and ya ur definitely right. It probably was because you added it with a non galaxy phone. Which I think Is dumb. But I’m so glad you got it to work. We both helped each other.
