We’re excited to announce the Aqara Power Plug H2 (RGB) Forum Exclusive Trial, a special opportunity for our active forum members to get their hands on our newest product before it officially launches! This 16A plug controls up to 3680W, and monitors energy usage. Whether it’s your TV or washing machine, power status becomes part of your smart routine. With Matter over Thread/Zigbee protocol switching, it fits seamlessly into your preferred ecosystem—past, present, or future.
*Supports Type-F/E plug types and Type-F sockets.
How To Participate (CET)
1. Eligibility:
- EU only.
- You’ll need at least 50 Aqara Forum Points to join. Click the yellow diamond on the upper-right to learn more about Aqara Forum Points system.
2. Sign Up (Mar 13 - Mar 26):
- Reply to this thread to officially register your interest. Please let us know your country.
- At this stage, listing goes live, but purchases aren’t open yet. This is your time to rack up those Aqara Forum Points if you need to. Don’t miss out, let us know you’re in!
3. Check Your Forum Inbox (Mar 27): We’ll be selecting 80 testers in total. If you’re picked, we’ll send you a Private Message (PM) with your unique discount code and a link to our Slack group.
4. Purchase: Use your unique code in the Aqara Shop to get the Power Plug H2 (RGB) for just €9.99 (For trial access).
5. Join Our Slack: Jump into our Slack group to share your thoughts and stay connected with the team throughout the trial!
A Quick Heads-up: To experience the Zigbee features of the Power Plug H2, you’ll need a hub that supports Zigbee 4.5.30. Please note that some specific features (detailed in the table below) require Zigbee 4.5.40, which is currently exclusive to Hub M3.
Don’t worry—you can be selected for the trial whether you have an M3 or not! We just want to make sure you have clear expectations for your specific setup.
