I’m using 2 FP300 sensors in my 20ft x 24ft garage. Both are detecting presence and absence as I’d like them to. I’m using presence to keep the lights on, Kasa Matter Switch, and then absence to turn the switch off after 5 minutes. No matter how I setup the automations the lights turn off after 5 minutes even if I’m still in the garage and presence is showing as detected on both sensors. Not sure what I’m missing or have setup wrong. Any ideas?
I’m using the Zigbee protocol with the sensors connected to a M100 hub in the garage with full signal strength.
Hello, welcome to the forum. Here is lesson 22 on turning on using F300
Try eliminating the AND and keep it simple WHEN this happens THEN do this. See if everything works.
I would also setup two automations. WHEN presence is detected THEN turn on light.
The second automation will be to turn the light off.
WHEN no presence is detected THEN turn off the light.
See if that works? I also see you trying to use 2 different presence sensors in the same automation. That may be one of the reasons for it not working like you want it to.
Thanks for the suggestions. This is actually how I agota it to work.
When sensor 1 shows presence and sensor 2 shows absence, turn light on. When sensor 2 shows presence and sensor 1 shows absence, turn light on.
When both sensors show absence (with an absence confirmation period of 5mins) turn light off.
Hello, I described specifically in lesson 22 your case of using two FP300 sensors.

Cool. I tried the one setup you used in Lesson 22 and that worked also. Thank you.
