Unexpected use of P100 for air conditioner (On/Off control)

Hello, and I want to be in the rental of the P100 sensor. Unexpectedly for me, my lesson 18 is greatly modernized with the use of P100. If we place the P100 sensor on the air conditioner blinds, we will receive reliable information about the operating state of the air conditioner (Off, On).
I placed the P100 sensor like this
Fig.1.

Now when the air conditioner is turned on, the sensor has the “open” position and when it is turned off, the “closed” position.
Now it remains to do the technical work, in the automation from lesson 18 ( Automation 2.0, lesson 18, creating temperature control automation using air conditioning ) we replace the T1 temperature sensor with the P100 sensor and get full control over the operation of the air conditioner with feedback.
And if we use the air conditioner icon for the P100 on the control panel, then we will have a constant indication of the air conditioner’s status.
By the way, the T1 sensor can be left, this will allow you to remotely monitor whether the air conditioner is working (blowing cold).
