Boost Your Points! Aqara Automation Allstars Campaign

I hope that I get some free points! I am liking my Aqara M3 Hub. Looking forward to trying some other devices.

New to Aqara, Use my M3 hub to make my infrared devices smarter

I’m new to Aqara, but I’ve been using my M3 hub to automate my infrared devices, particularly my TV. By using scenes I created a step by step to launch a favorited pdf google drive file link with my daily back exercises. It can be a bit tedious to set up but once you set it up its cool! Its important to set up the button presses to simulate movement around the TV UI, with delays of 1-2 secs. This ensures your automation/scene will work. Also move the apps you want to automate close to the top…

Title: Presence-Perfected Living with Aqara FP2 AqaraAutomationAllstars

In our home, presence detection isn’t just about motion, we made it about intentional living. Using the Sensor (FP2), I’ve mapped out distinct zones across our living space: from the TV console and bookshelves to the kitchen sink, bar, and walkway. Each zone responds uniquely to presence, creating a seamless flow of comfort and convenience.

Pain Point Solved:
We used to struggle with lights staying on unnecessarily or not turning on when needed. Now, the FP2 detects real-time presence with precision—no more waving at motion sensors or fumbling in the dark.

Kitchen Efficiency:
When someone enters the kitchen sink zone, task lighting activates. If presence shifts to the countertop, the ambient lights adjust for prep work. It’s like the kitchen knows what we’re doing.

Living Room Harmony:
Presence in the TV zone dims the lights. If someone moves to the bookshelf area, brighter lighting kicks in for reading. It’s cozy, intuitive, and family-friendly.

This layout shows how each zone is defined and how the FP2 tracks presence with remarkable accuracy even down to the second (except for when it needs firmware update )

Automatic Bathroom Fan

I created an automated on/off bathroom fam with the Aqara Zigbee Temperature and Humidity sensors. Our bathroom exhaust fans turn on whenever humidity gets over 80% and turns back off when humidity drops under 80%. We run this automation through Apple Home and it has worked flawlessly for months. We have two bathrooms and four kids. Everyone remembering to turn on the bathroom fan never worked. Our bathrooms started smelling bad from the constant humidity. These sensors and matter connecte…

Automated washroom lights and air diffuser

I have set up a system where I have automated my washroom lights using an Aqara FP2 presence sensor and an Aqara switch. In addition, I have an Eve smart outlet which I am using with my air diffuser to release a pleasant aroma when someone enters the washroom and also save it for the next time someone enters.
