FP300 Empty Battery After 3 Days!?

Ummmm…

so, after 3 days, my FP300 is reporting empty battery state in Aqara app AND Home Assistant.

Rebooting it and the hub didn’t help.

@AqaraOfficial elaborate, please.

It’s showing a full battery here though

The sensor it self is working fyi.

Did you bind it by Matter or Zigbee?

Not surprised something is not right.

It’s a bit unusual, but it’s possible that the battery was already low or not properly charged when the device arrived. I’d suggest replacing the batteries first and monitoring the behavior to see if the issue comes back.

If the problem persists, it would be best to contact Aqara Support directly at support@aqara.com so they can investigate further.

Hope this helps and feel free to update us!

Could you give me your account to analysis?

My email is dacheng.zhu-e0131@aqara.com you can send your acount number to here.

The constantly is reminding you that configuration not synchronized. You can click the sensor button or wait 1 hour to sync your configuration.

Is this legit?

Did you see the led indcator when you clcik the button?

If you clcik the button(just clcik one time). The led will flash and the configuration will be synchronized. And the hub will say device is connected. If the tip continuously displayed at the top isn’t normal.

Yes the LED did flash and the configuration was set. After a while the same message appeared.

Today the battery is showing as Full.

Exactly same thing happened to me. I also had to change batteries already after a week or so. The blue line on top goes away after you press the button on the FP300 once and the hub confirm the connection. I suspect that the two things can be related so when it’s in that mode it drains the battery :person_shrugging:t3:

Weirdly, it shows that the batteries are full today…

That message at the top disappears for a while after pressing the button but it comes back eventually, then it doesn’t disappear again until you press the button again.

You are correct mine does the same just checked, but reset it a few days back because I didn’t believe the batteries could be dead so fast, but couldn’t get any life from it until I changed batteries. The other one I bought doesn’t have the same issue.

I’m sure this is a software bug as the battery status came back today. Hope they get to find out what’s up.

May be some configuration is lost during transform.I noticed your hub have left network in the past. You can configure it again.
