Ikea bilresa2 button remote does not pair to m3 on android phone

So, I’m not sure if you are aware, but neither of them pairs with the Android app; they always get stuck on the 3rd or 4th stage. However, they pair without any problems with the Apple app.

IKEA BILRESA and Aqara Hub M3

Has anyone succeeded in adding the IKEA BILRESA remote control with dual button or scroll wheel to the Aqara M3 Hub via the Aqara Home app? The app can find the BILRESA device when trying to add a new device but after scanning the QR code then the app gives a “Connection Failed” error after a couple of minutes. I tried on both an iPhone and Android phone with the same error. [Aqara]

IKEA BILRESA - Dual Button - Will Not Pair with Aqara

Hello Aqara support. I’ve purchased 10 of these devices and I can pair with Home Assistant & Google Home but these will not pair with Aqara. I’m using Android to try to pair the device. I’ve added to Home Assistant and tried to share from there and it still will not connect to Aqara Home. I am at a loss as to what else I could try, other threads mention that this is an android issue and that iPhone hoes not have this issue. I do not have an iPhone to test.

Thank you, i did notice there are a lot of those, just hoped that my post would create a reminder for the team to work out that bug on the android side. I got an impression that devs are also looking at this forum.
