What's wrong with the W600

I hope the fix for the extreme temperature fluctuations comes before my return period expires (middle of january).
I like the design and would hate to have to send it back.
But that wasn’t the problem in T1 either; it’s not the first thermostat firmware for you guys. Just wondering.

There’s also the bug where the schedule doesn’t work at all. Only when I deactivated and reactivated it in the submenu the temperature was set correctly. Let’s see how long it stays active now.

You’d think they might just try a bit harder to push that update mentioned a dozen days through wouldn’t you; a basic, but accurate, on/off switch would be better than what we’ve currently got!

Yeah, absolutely, asking for help to get an absolutely necessary update for a broken product is crazy.

I have four W600 thermostats and have been on the whitelist for quite some time.

Despite firmware version 2442, one of the thermostats fails daily and doesn’t adhere to the schedule.
This morning I woke up to 16.5 degrees Celsius. Brrrrrrrrrrr, freezing!

All four thermostats failed to follow the schedule and simply didn’t adjust.

Firmware version 2442 is significantly better than firmware version 1839, but unfortunately, it’s still far from good and reliable.

I also see a problem with the smart schedule, the guys say that the next update will fix this problem. For now, I recommend creating automation to wait for the new update. I wrote the instructions in lesson 10. Maybe you can make such a smart schedule and leave it permanently. It will take a little time, but it will be stable. For now, I would not recommend the thermostat at all. If one don’t have the thermostat at the moment I would wait until ist works. If you can’t wait, buy another one.

Obviously this is only a solution for people that do not have it already.

Hab auch das Problem mit dem neuem Update 0.0.0_2442 des W 600. Es werden keine Zeitpläne mehr gespeichert. Ich habe drei, W600. Und es passiert nur bei einem einzigen.

With the new update 0.0.0_2442 of the W 600, there is unfortunately also the next problem. Schedules are no longer stored. I have three, W600. And it only happens with one.

Hello, I assumed that the android has a problem in the app program. I took my wife’s iPhone and set up the schedule, app version 6.0.8. So far everything works, the schedule does not fly. I set it up manually, not in automatic mode. After setting up from the iPhone, I log in from the android and it stopped showing a window like yours. (I also had it).

One of my seven w600s appears to be defective. I have tried several times to get the thermostat into detection mode, but it is not working. A network or factory reset was also unsuccessful. Even removing the batteries did not help.

Can I exchange it directly through the Aquara Store? If I return it and place a new order through Amazon, I would lose the Black Friday discount. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find an option for this in the store, and Amazon only offers returns.
