Lesson 25__Automation 2.0, lesson 25, P100 sensor as a doorbell in England
Good afternoon, today my example of automation 2.0 will be associated with the U200 lock (or other Aqara locks).
Users who use the U200 in passage corridors want the lock to lock immediately after entering the door.
In this post, the user tells his solution to the problem ( Smart lock for multipoint doors - #2 by siobhanellis ), I use the method that I will describe below.
Devices that must be in a smart home to implement my automation:
- U200 lock;
- opening sensor on the door where the U200 lock is located;
- G400 video doorbell (or another Aqara model).

Solution
The solution to this issue is based on the use of automation 2.0, the WHEN section in sequence mode.
Fig.2.
Algorithm, if the video doorbell sees a person → the lock opens → the door is open → the door is closed THEN close the U200.
The automation for this task looks something like this
Fig.3.
This automation is very simple and effective.
This automation algorithm is very useful for new type U*00 locks, when the official start of the release of the lock is, I will remind you about this automation.
This topic is over.
